10 MOST ATTRACTIVE TRAITS IN A LADY

One of my boys is turning a year older today. The whole pack gathers at his apartment as we deliberate on where we will go partying all night long. Our conversation shifts to the traits each one of us looks for in a woman. The following is a list of 10 most attractive traits in a woman.

1)    Independent

A girl who is emotionally mature and financially independent happens to be the most eligible spinster. She should have her own life, a career, friends, and interests. Getting stuck with a clingy person can be really draining. She should let her guy spend quality time with his associates and pursue his interests.

Since we live in tough economic times a lady shouldn’t offload all her financial obligations to the dude. The guy does not always have to be the one who pays the bills or buys gifts, she too should be able to pick the tab sometimes and also give presents. A girl who has her own view towards life, different tastes and diverse interests is fun to be with. Don’t make it your life’s mission to espouse all your guy’s interests, likes and dislikes; it’s repugnant. Be independent!

2)    Confidence

You don’t need to look like Naomi Campbell to be confident. Learn to accept and cherish everything about yourself. Whether it’s your skin color, body size, height, cleavage or even eyes. It is rather depressing to hang out with a girl who keeps whining about her weight, shape, lips etc. You are beautiful just the way you are! I am pretty sure no authentic guy would like you less just because you have smaller hips than your friends. So lift your head up high, let your gait exude confidence, flaunt your best assets and live with your not so good traits. After

You are beautiful just the way you are! I am pretty sure no authentic guy would like you less just because you have smaller hips than your friends. So lift your head up high, let your gait exude confidence, flaunt your best assets and live with your not so good traits. After all, nobody is perfect!

3)    Hair

This happens to be a contentious issue. Some guy’s don’t give a rat’s ass of whats on your head. They can’t tell the diffrence between a weave and natural hair. However, there are other men who find weaves and wigs obnoxious. They hate fake hair so much that they would strike you off their list the moment they discover it.

We know natural hair is tedious and expensive maintain but it oozes out beauty, health, and fertility. A lady who goes an extra mile to take good care of her hair portrays ability to take even better care of her own family.

4)    Loyalty

All successful men find it difficult when it comes to choosing the right partner. Since wealth is a great aphrodisiac, any guy who has amassed a sizeable fortune is afraid that the girl he is dating might only be interested in his property. He will always be worried that if he goes broke she would immediately jump ship and go for another man. Nothing beats the joy of having someone who you can share your most intimate secrets,

Nothing beats the joy of having someone who you can share your most intimate secrets, worries, and weaknesses without any fear whatsoever. We all want to be hitched to someone who is real, loyal and honest about their feelings. I’m yet to know how to find out if a girl is genuine or has ill motives. If you know of any way on how to do that please enlighten me.

5)    Good sense of humor

Contrary to what most people think having a good sense of humor doesn’t mean one is funny, it’s that they see the lighter side of things in life. Picture this; you are on a date with this gorgeous lady you’ve been eyeing for quite some time now. You go ahead and unleash all you killer jokes only to have her sit there, arms across, staring back at you as if waiting to suddenly see horns sprout out on your head! Even though he may be the worst comedian ever, it’s nice to appreciate when he tries to cheer you up. However silly his tales might be, the trace of a smile on your lips would greatly encourage the poor bloke.

6)    Smiling

A warming smile can melt even the hardest of men. A smiling lady is approachable, attractive and welcoming. This reminds me of a lady I know of who hardly smiles. She struts around with a serious demeanor. There was a time she was complaining that guys hardly approach her. Very few people would like to be associated with someone who looks like she is carrying the whole world on her back. When you walk around with a frown on your face it scares away potential suitors.  My advice, try smiling whenever you are taking a stroll out on the streets, who

My advice, try smiling whenever you are taking a stroll out on the streets, who knows, your prince charming may be attracted by that and come running to you arms wide open!

7)    A good cook

As the cliché goes, “the quickest way to man’s heart is through the stomach.” you don’t need to have the culinary skills of an Italian chef or a secret recipe to achieve this. Learn how to make a few dishes; hata kama ni chapo madondo tu. Most guys can attest to this, a lady who cannot make a decent meal does not pass for a wife material. Keep in mind that dipping some instant noodles into hot water which become edible in less than three minutes does not pass for cooking at all!

8)    Moderation

A few years ago I used to have these lady friends who loved partying hard. Drinking hard liquor, smoking a couple of cigarettes and doing drugs wasor the er of the day.  A few days ago I bumped into one of them in town, I was shocked, to say the least. The girl who was stunning beautiful 3 years ago now looks like a shell of her former self.

She has aged considerably. You would think she is in her late thirties when in reality she is only 22 years old!  Dear ladies, if you have to take alcohol or do drugs please do it with moderation lest you end up looking like a scarecrow!

9)  Talented or creative

A lady who can sing, paint, dance, play an instrument or perform any other form of art is such a great turn on. It makes her special, connected to something greater and also feeds a man’s fantasy that he’ll get a pretty little daughter who is also artistic

10) Adventurous

Dating a girl who is so predictable, without drama and conservative is quite intricate. A lady who isn’t afraid to explore the world, pursue her passions, have fun, wild and adventurous is simply refreshing to date. Having someone you can go from watching a football match with to rock climbing is epic!

If there is something most girls are so poor at then it’s how to express themselves out. Guys are not mind readers. If he does something you don’t like please let him know forthright. It’s completely unfair for you to be so mean, expecting him to realize his mistake and apologize on his own. Once you develop feelings for a guy go ahead tell them, don’t wait for him to figure that out on his own as it may take ages mean while you are hurting in side.

Finaly, once you develop feelings for a guy go ahead tell them, don’t wait for him to figure that out on his own as it may take ages mean while you are hurting in side.

Have an expressive day!

I agree with you but not 100% , all the things you say and how you potray them lean more on you , no one is perfect .You can find that girl who is nice but doesnt have all of them you mould her to what you want …..i hope it’s viceversa.

my hair and how i decide to style it doesnt define who i am,i agree with everything else apart from the weave part
A man who looks at a woman and dismisses her because of her hair is petty and immature
As long as its neat and clean

Brenda picture this, a guy invites you out on a date so you go there looking your very best. The guy shows up in a well fiting suit however one of his shoe is torn to the extent you can see a toe protruding. How would you feel about that?

Thats what most men feel about beautiful ladies in poorly done weaves (the kind village women sport!)

I agree with Brenda! I am a lady and I rock, weaves, braids and natural hair and I always look stunning. As a ladyI believe in creativity in fashion and hair not just one boring style coz Mark feels obnoxious, thats ridiculous. I was asked out after campus when I was broke and tarmacking, not independent, did I mention I had a weave then? These are your preferences and some few men but love is like a cold, it catches you when you least expect it and most likely the object of interest may not get many scores on your checklist. I am an advocate of Be Yourself.

🙂 I also advocate for people to be real. A few guys and I hate weaves but most men in general cannot even differentiate between real and fake hair.If you feel great about yourself in a weave please go ahead and sport one, the beauty of life is that nothing is cast in stone!

Well, men find women sharing most traits with their mothers as most eligible for marriage

about the lady in the pic she should serve as the benchmark on the quality of fake hair if you must sport some

So let’s just say you like quality weaves….going by all the photos above. And another factor you kenyans like is mzungu looking women with all the fried perms …not one with an nice Afro which is what your sisters would naturally have on their heads! By the way those quality long weaves Brazilian or Indian cost 40k apiece. Don’t blame your sisters when they can’t attain that standard, they are trying their best given that most likely their boyfriends and husbands have other important investments in mind. So the next time your girl has to date a rich older man for the hair expenses don’t complain. Or perhaps you could learn to love Afros……right?

Hmm it seems like your blog ate my first comment (it was super long) so
I guess I’ll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still
new to the whole thing. Do you have any suggestions for beginner blog
    writers? I’d really appreciate it.

Hi Mark I totally agree and I love this post, except for number 3 🙂 I feel as though its 2014 we have had weaves around for many years and have learnt to deal with them. Bottom line is if she looks good and its clean then I dont care if she grew it or paid for it….thanks bro

Thanks Mike for the insights, lakiniiiiiiii, with men toppling over themselves chasing yellow-yellows (bleached out mamas), and mamas who are endowed on the cleaveage as well as a nice rounded butt…with painted nails and overdone faces…where does that leave those of us who are as petite as Tegla Loroupe, who come off as natural as Lupita Nyong’o? I have heard men, some men derogatorily refer to petit women…it leaves a lot to be desired.

In summary, I believe we are all different, raised different, exposed to different parametres in life and choose women, men, lifestyles differently. My thoughts!

I feel your pain. most times we guys play double standards, setting very high standards on our women yet we don’t meet the threshold. I’m totally against taunting of petite people of both genders, its totally wrong!

Well…I saw this now, but a late comment won’t hurt right? I LOVe It,,except for no.3….that’s more of the lady’s choice rather than quality for a wife material….
